Happy summertime, everyone! So at the start of this year I kind of went through a lifestyle change where I decided I wanted to become more mindful of my choices – both body and soul. It’s been a learning process and I’m not 100% where I want to be (I still have a long way to go!), but one of the things I’ve been moving towards is using more cruelty-free products when I can. I actually did not plan this video to be a cruelty-free makeup video – it just turned out that most of the products that I have been loving as my summer beauty essentials are not tested on animals – so I thought I would make that a point in case that’s something you’d like to incorporate into your beauty routine as well. I also thought it would be a great opportunity to kind of open up a conversation on what you all think of going cruelty-free. Enjoy! ✖✖ Audrie

// ABOUT ME //
A little bit about me – I’m a content creator on Instagram, YouTube, and on my blog at AudrieStorme.com living in Orange County, California (originally from the San Francisco Bay Area). I started posting outfit of the day (#OOTD) photos on Instagram about two years ago when I was living in Dallas, Texas for work. I loved taking photos and posting on Instagram so much that I decided to expand and try out YouTube and blogging as well.

When I was living in the city, my personal style was a bit more streetwear 90’s grunge, but now that I live in Southern California and closer to the ocean, my style has become a lot more cozy and comfortable with a lot of bohemian influences.

If I had to describe my fashion sense on my blog, Instagram aesthetic, and YouTube editing style now, I’d probably describe it as modern bohemian with an edge, since I tend to wear and do things that might be considered unconventional to others. I’m not sure if that is true, but since I’ve moved back to California, I just find that I gravitate to what is easiest and effortless for me while living near the beach where it always feels like summer.

Thank you so much for stopping by my YouTube channel and I hope that you enjoy what you’ll find here! I love fashion, beauty (especially hair styling and bohemian braids), DIY projects and how to videos, making travel diaries of all the places that I’m lucky enough to visit, and sharing my (for lack of a better term) “modern bohemian” lifestyle. If you’d like to see more, please feel free to subscribe to my channel. Hope to see you in the comments below!

With love,

Audrie

    Spooky! I received my Aztec Healing clay today. It's my first time trying it. I'm particularly excited to see how it heals my skin in the ultimate detox bath I'm planning. Have you ever used the clay in a bath? I hope you've had a lovely weekend? Sending you some love from England.xx

    the zomedical sunscreen doesn't really leave a white cast on my face and it doesn't do that weird thing like some sunscreens do where it kind of peels off your face!
